Our ProgramsSocial Health Association offers a variety of health education programs to students in Central Indiana schools. SHA teachers are trained to instruct in grades K-12, however most programming takes place in grades 4-8. Our program focus areas are:
All SHA classes are taught by degreed teachers with many years of classroom experience. Our programs are reviewed for alignment with the Indiana Academic Standards for Health Education, as passed by the Board of the Indiana Department of Education. Alignment with these Standards insures student needs in health are met, and schools have a program partner which works to help them meet their instructional goals. SHA programs can be individualized to meet the needs of the school corporation.
