Social Health Association

Social Health Association of Indiana relies on funding from a combination of United Way funds, federal and state grants, and private donors to reach as many youth with critical health information as possible. Generous support from the Indiana community allows Social Health Association to offset some of the costs of delivering programs in innovative and interactive ways to youth from kindergarten through 8th grade.

The average cost to provide one hour of health education is $400 per classroom of 25 children, roughly $16 per child. Social Health Association provides more than 84,000 hours of education each school year.
