We’re Celebrating 75 Years in a Big Way

2018 marks Social Health Association of Indiana, Inc.’s 75th year of success serving over 1.5 million Indiana youth with vital school-based health education programs. This is no small feat, and we’ve decided to celebrate accordingly—we’re undergoing a major transformation to better reflect who we are and where we’re going.

This year, we are relaunching as LifeSmart Youth, Inc. This new brand aligns perfectly with our long-standing mission to “foster successful lives by empowering youth to make responsible choices and adopt healthy behaviors.” We are so excited for this transformation, which will enable us—even more than we already have—to guide youth to lead healthy and safe lives…for generations to come.

Founded in 1943, Social Health Association offers a variety of school-based health education programs that meet both the Indiana Academic Standards for Health Education and the need to provide relevant, age-appropriate health information for Indiana students. All of our programs are offered by professional Health Educators in an engaging, respectful classroom environment and meet Indiana health standards for schools.

Social Health Association has a proven record of providing students the medically accurate, research based information they need to make healthier life choices. We encourage conversations between parents and students by providing Parent and Trusted Adult Education sessions.  A Parent Portal is also accessible for parents to preview the health education programs for parental consent.

Our goal is to develop happy, healthy, safe kids!
